At this restaurant you drive through a single combined entrance/exit when pulling in/out onto the main road; again not that unusual, but for the sign telling drivers leaving:
So why has this nonsensical grammar been allowed to stand for the better part of a decade?
The food is always good, the service is as well, but they always, and I do mean always, either incorrectly dress, or just send my baked potatoes out completely naked!
This is one of the very few fast food places I will eat, the food is always good, and hot when you get your order. Staff is always nice. And you can't beat that 4 for $4 all day long, excellent value!
Always find myself wondering, since that sign has been considered adequate for so long, what do the instructions for cleaning the food prep area look like? Is there an "Always wash hands before using the bathroom and handling food" sign? I mean, I'd feel better knowing they nailed down the exact order in which handing your junk, washing hands and making my burger are supposed to occur in.
And what exactly is the sign telling us to do? "No Left Turn Before 4-6PM." How much before 4:00 can I turn left? Hours? Minutes? And why does it say 4-6pm? Are you being offered a choice inside that 2 hour window of when to not turn left before? I usually settle on 5:50 and turn left as long as it's any time before that, then anything goes after 6.
I speculate the sign was supposed to say "no left BETWEEN 4-6pm", but it's been that way for years.
Like most fast food restaurants, you can get a good burger or chicken sandwich, even a good size salad or backed potato at a reasonable price.
"No Left Turn Before 4-6PM."
Good fast food. Always quick with consistently good service. Seems to have a high turnover rate of employees but they always seem to have good people here.
This Wendy's is ok and typical of what, like 10,000 other Wendy's. Except for when you leave the parking lot.
The meaning seems obvious at first, but read closely and it's not so clear. Every time I'm there no driver seems really sure what to do. Most traffic wants to go left, the center of town and I90 are both that direction. But when exactly are we being told we can't go left? Today a Toyota in front of me today played it safe, adhered to the letter of the law by crossing straight over into the McDonald's, in order to circle around and turn right onto the road instead. As I've seen many others do before. Does that make traffic flow better, or worse? And does McDonald's not even mind us picking Wendy's over them for our burger hook-up, only to burn on them further with a free spin around their own crib's driveway?
