DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!! They were all smiles and agreements when I bought a car from them, but when it failed inspection all I heard was gripes about costs and they flat out refused to make the repairs - Bob said he realized that he could've sold the car for more and would rather refund my money than fix it for me! Kevin (the boss???) ignored my calls, eventually told me deal with Bob and hung up. The whole operation seems sketchy, hokey, unprofessional, and better off avoided if you ask me. I do love my car though (and yes, Bob way under-priced it!!).
The mechanic is very good and even took the time to explain everything to me without cutting corners.
I am sorry that you had these experiences with Wayne.
They are a small family business and have treated me like royalty.

I bought a car from them almost three months ago and had a problem just happen to the car. I called the owner, he told me to bring the car down so they could look it over. The owner personally drove me back to my house. The car was way past the warranty and they he still fixed the car for nothing. The owner picked me back up at my house and drove me to my car.
I, on the other hand had a fantastic experience with CKS. This person Wayne you're talking about no longer works there. The owner deals with all of the customers face to face and he has treated me like a person.

Car I got has no strut towers. They said they would fix it. They covered the rot with bondo and paint. On the strut towers. Car has floor rot, too. Paying $7,000 for a car that will never be safe. I'm stuck with it, can't negotiate with it, can't afford to pay it off all at once to get rid of it, can't fix it, still owe like $1,800 on this wreck.
